What we make

Sugar Before Supper is a shop for the best promotion a person ever gets: becoming a grandparent. Nana, Mimi, Gigi, Grandma, Papa, Pop-Pop, Abuela, Lola, Nonna, Opa — whatever the family decided to call you, there is a design here that says it, and says it with the pride it deserves.

Most of what we make is bought as a gift. The reveal folded into a box, the Mother’s Day and Father’s Day mug, the Christmas sweatshirt from the grandkids, the matching set for the first family photo. If you are the adult child doing the buying, the shelves are sorted by name so the right one is easy to find. The newly retired have a shelf of their own, because every day is Saturday now.

Everything is printed after you order it, so nothing sits in a warehouse and nothing is thrown away. The jokes are about the job — spoiling, sugar before supper, the grandkid who runs the house — and never about age. These are people at the top of the hill, and the shirts know it.
